I am a 5 year breast cancer survivor! God is amazing and I am blessed to be sharing my story with you. My cancer journey has taken me through many stages in my life. I want to share one that has contributed to me feeling whole again. It took me 5 years to say, “I’m going to get Areola Tattooing” Why did I wait so long? I was afraid of needles; I didn’t think it would matter.

I had a DIEP flap and nipple reconstruction. Dr. Chin did an amazing job on my breast, I actually loved how my breast looked, but I thought, Who sees me but myself and my husband. Dr. Chin would ask me occasionally and professionally from time to time, when was I going to finish the next step. It was when she told me Cooper was specialized in Micropigmentation was when a light bulb went off, and I knew it was the right time.

Cooper was with me through my oncology journey with Dr. Chin. I loved her! She was one of the best in her field and I knew if she cared for me as she did during my visit with Dr. Chin. Then I knew she would take care of me for this final step in my journey. I am so proud to say Cooper made me feel WHOLE again! When I looked into the mirror with just the first session I was overwhelmed of the beauty Cooper created for me. Just me! It made me feel complete. It brought tears to my eyes!

Cooper is amazingly talented, and so professional, she makes you feel at ease. She explains everything that she will be doing. Cooper has an amazing eye for color. She is a perfectionist and will make sure your skin tone will match the tattooing color to look natural. I am so blessed to have had Cooper do my Areola Tattooing. I am whole again. I guess you could say I am complete when I look into the mirror. I see me and not what happened to me.

So Don’t Wait! Just Do It!
